Today's match was terrible. What could have I said? First half was okay... I made a few mistakes here and there. One of which was I tried to go for a ball that I could not reach in time. It bounced... it went over my head... I looked back and realized that it was moving towards my own goal... Oh my, I never felt so inexperienced before...
Other than that we managed to control the game. Thus, on the half time, we were leading 3 - 1. One was for conceding from penalty. What a luck I had today... I jumped to the correct spot, but oh... it was not good enough. The ball was one metre away from my grasp...
So far so good, but the worst was yet to come...
Second half was not any better... or should I say, it was worse than before. Since we were leading, our coach thought it would be okay to experiment around. Testing some players and new tactics. After all it was just a friendly match... Good thing to do, but bad idea I should say. The whole squad was replaced, even the captain. And so it happened... We started to lose the battle in the midfield... Flanks was under-utilised... In short, it was a disaster... we conceded three goals in the second half... What a bad match...
